Electra Link is growing and hiring Low Voltage Technicians at multiple skill levels to support upcoming projects across Texas. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused employees who are willing to travel and work an extended project schedule.

Work Schedule & Travel Requirements
Candidates must be willing and able to:
Travel to project locations throughout Texas
Work 6 days per week
Work approximately 10 hours per day
Work extended project schedules as required
Remain at the project location during the workweek and, when necessary, for the duration of the project assignment
Electra Link will reimburse eligible mileage for travel to the assigned project at the beginning of the assignment and for the return trip home once the project assignment ends.
Additional project travel or per diem may apply based on the specific project assignment and company policy.
Responsibilities
Depending on experience and skill level, responsibilities may include:
Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling systems
Install Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic, and other structured cabling
Pull, route, dress, label, and secure cable
Install cable pathways, supports, racks, cabinets, and related hardware
Perform copper and fiber terminations
Assist with testing and certification of installed systems
Read and follow blueprints, drawings, work orders, and project specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow company and customer safety requirements
Properly use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts
Communicate effectively with supervisors, foremen, and project team members
Complete assigned work accurately and within project timelines
Assist with material handling and jobsite organization
Perform other duties as assigned

Entry-Level / Helper
Technician I
Technician II
Experienced Low Voltage Technician
Job level and compensation will be determined based on experience, technical knowledge, certifications, and demonstrated skill level.
Qualifications
Previous low-voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, electrical, construction, or related experience is preferred but not required for entry-level positions
Ability to work 6 days per week and approximately 10 hours per day
Ability and willingness to travel to project locations throughout Texas
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Ability to perform physical work throughout the scheduled shift
Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in construction environments
Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools
Strong attention to safety and quality
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Must meet applicable customer and project access requirements
Some industrial or customer-specific projects may require additional background screening, drug testing, or site credentials.
